Get clear and move forward with confidence
Career Coaching runs deep around here. At the very heart of Stand On Your Head lives a belief that our work – the thing that most of us will spend half our waking life doing – matters. As we evolve, so do our skills, interests, and values. Every day we go to work, and our work gets to work on us. Whether you’re rethinking your career direction, preparing for a new role, or experiencing burnout, career coaching helps you move forward with intention and confidence. We support people navigating the full arc of career transitions — from exciting opportunities to unexpected setbacks and every decision point in between.

Career Coaching FAQ
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching typically focuses more on future goals, strategy, and forward motion. Therapy typically focuses more on healing from the past. Many clients work with both.
How long does career coaching take?
Most clients come for a series of sessions, but powerful clarity can emerge in a single strategy session. Some clients seek a time bound support container (e.g., 3-6 months) while others prefer a sustainable long-term rhythm, meeting weekly, biweekly or monthly for the foreseeable future. Together we’ll create a plan based on the scope of what you want to work on, your availability, and your budget.
Do you work with international clients?
Stand On Your Head is proudly based in Canada and fully virtual. Sessions are online and accessible worldwide.
What if I don’t know what I want yet?
You don’t need clarity to begin. Clarity is something we uncover together.
